Small Groups

We all have a story and a past that has contributed to who we are today. We grow in community as we share our story and hear other’s stories. We can grow in appreciating and respecting those we share life with as we hear the richness of their stories. Sharing our own story and hearing other’s also cultivates a deeper trust in God – both God’s sovereign hand and God’s power to work in us as we yield ourselves to God, no matter the circumstances of each season of life.

At First Baptist Church of Tucker, we see spiritual formation as a lifelong journey towards becoming like Jesus. Everyone’s pathway is different but the destination is the same – Christlikeness. Individual study and study in the community of others assists in spiritual formation.
