Ministries

A Place for Everyone

There is a place for everyone at FBC — in music, in Bible Study, at our ministries center.

Here are a few of them.

If you are called to a ministry that you don't see here, let us know. We want to minister where God leads us.

Children

There are graded activities for children from nursery through 5th grade. The children's floor has recently been redone to provide experiential teaching for preschool and elementary grade children.

  • A variety of small groups meet both during the regular Sunday School hour and at other times during the week.  There are small groups for ladies, book lovers, and prayer warriors.  Other groups may include young married adults or senior walkers.  We encourage investing in the lives of others in our church and in our community.

Hispanic Ministry

There is Spanish-language Bible Study each Sunday morning and simultaneous English/ Spanish translation in church.

Senior Adults

Seniors from First Baptist and the community participate in NTO (Never Too Old) as well as other seniors activities.

Keenagers

There is a special ministry at Tucker First Baptist for persons that are developmentally disabled.  They meet weekly on Sunday mornings in the Randolph Special Education classroom on the second floor of the main building.  Many also participate in worship service.  One Sunday morning a year is dedicated to this special group, as they lead us in worship.

Music

First Baptist has a variety of music programs: graded choirs for children, the Sanctuary choir, the praise band, and the Senior Singers.
